Notes about this area:

The aims here were to provide an opportunity for home school links, encouraging parents to share key events, with their children, supporting and modelling use of the learning platform for the youngest and least able users .

This page uses:

• The community is Starz Starter - offering a simple look and feel more suited to early users
• The History theme - chosen as a skin via the cogs in the top right corner
• The home page shows Blog entries - Chosen via the cogs by selecting the blog panel in the central area
• The set of tools to the left probably needs some editing - it is off putting to have links to areas that are not being used.  Many of these may not be appropriate, but the Survey tool could be used to collate information from parents.  What would you keep and what would you remove?
